Black employees of CNN are suing the company and its affiliates for racial discrimination.
The class action was filed in Atlanta, Georgia, on Wednesday on behalf of two workers, Celeslie Henley and Ernest Colbert Jr, but alleges widespread discrimination throughout the organizations.
'Dramatic' differences in pay, harsher evaluations for black males and fewer available promotions are among evidence of the prejudice, the lawsuit alleges.
CNN declined to comment on the case when comment on the case when contacted. TBS and Time Warner did not respond to requests. . .

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving company.
Well we were both thinking of that great defender of blackness, Van Jones, who I’m sure will be all over this even if it cost him his own job to stand up for the brother and sister who have been held down by The Man /s
CNN = Literally Hitler!
Who knows, maybe Van Jones becomes one of the Plaintiffs. Wouldn’t that be a hoot? One of those his actions speak so loud you cannot hear him?
I mean defendants -
I have personally witnessed several of these types of racism claims over the years at places I have worked, and at least in my experience they were all obvious frauds cooked up after the plaintiffs had either gotten in trouble for something, or didn't get something they wanted. Political correctness has handed certain favored minority groups a sledgehammer, and they use it at every opportunity to get what they want.
I’ve seen plenty of fake allegations of racism by crappy workers, but I’ve also seen a small number of genuine cases. Apparently older white female supervisors feel that because they are protected minorities themselves, they are free to openly discriminate.
Scrumcious!
Reminds me of an old study, done with a full-on sense of irony, that, using the statistical methodology supported by HEW (the predecessor to HHS) at the time, HEW discriminated against blacks and women to a greater degree than did the average private-sector company.
