All of these deaths of children and LEOs just make me sick and are totally uncalled for.
We had an officer shot dead in Tacoma (about 30 miles south of Seattle) a week ago. He had responded to a domestic dispute.
The service will be held in the Tacoma Dome (large place) tomorrow and I heard on the radio that LEOs are coming from all over the country, including NY and Boston.
We, also, lost an officer on Nov. 8th election day.
He was responding to a call from a local motel where the maid had seen drugs in a room.
He was shot as he rounded the corner of motel while chasing perp.
Perp was killed hours later in a big shoot out at a resort cabin in vicinity.
Police and firefighters attended funeral from all over the country.
All LEOs are brothers and family just like the military.
