Kelly is out, obviously, too. So I guess I am hoping for Rohrbach or Giuliani.


I thought State would go to Rudy but now I’m leaning to Bolton. Trump knows it will be controversial so he is waiting on dropping the SoS news. Probably right before Christmas.

Oh, right. Bolton would be good. Though I fear he might get a compromise #2 position (like Kobach) with someone less controversial as SoS.

I was initially opposed to Bolton because of his connections to the Bushes, but his experience, his skills, his desire to create a culture war in the State department tell me that he would be the strongest player to put in that job, much stronger than any of the politicians they’ve discussed.
