True. He may be opposed by some radical Black groups. They see him and Harold Ford, Jr. as “sellout blacks”.

I agree, he is my democrat frontrunner right now. First, he is the only democrat I know of under 70 who has had some national exposure. And second, Trump is going to be spending the next four years peeling away blacks from the democrat party. The democrats will feel that they have to nominate another black candidate in order to keep blacks democrat. (However, that will probably peel away latinos and women, who think it is "their turn". Possibly a nice little identity politics civil war coming up)
