Exactly. IMHO there is nothing wrong with just listening to someone, unless there is a concern you could give them legitimacy (KKK, etc). I dont think that quite applies to Gore.
I have continually been surprised how people will give up intel if you just let them talk long enough. Many times they dont want to hear your side anyway.

If you're going to reconnoiter the enemy, you don't make a public show of it. All that Trump is accomplishing with this stunt is breathing life back into ManBearPig while making us look like idiots for voting for him.
