I think they should have done it and made Obama veto it. Our GOP controlled congress agreed with you. They made sure that Obama did not have to veto many bills by not sending him bills he did not agree with. As disagreeable as Obama is, he has only used his veto power 10 or 12 times. I do not think it was the threat of vetoes that kept the GOP from sending him bills that he would veto as much as it is that the current GOP “leadership” agree with him on most things.
