You've never been to Johns Hopkins Hospital, have you? On the one hand, it's widely regarded as the very best hospital in the entire country. But on the other hand, it's a major urban hospital located in East Baltimore, one of the crappiest crapholes that our country has to offer. Dr. Carson has probably seen more decay and brokenness in a single day at the office than most of the posters on this board have seen in their entire lives.

Moreover, I've been told by friends who have worked there that it is one of the most intense pressure cookers that you can imagine. If Dr. Carson can not only survive but thrive in an environment like that, I have confidence that he can handle whatever HUD will throw at him.
