Roku is hardware that brings programming in via Ethernet or wifi (it is not a streaming content provider).
Sling, Hulu, Amazon, et al are streaming content providers.
A Roku plugs into an hdmi port to receive the streaming data. Or an Ethernet can plug directly into a Roku TV.
Prices of streaming services don’t come from a Roku, they can be found by looking at a website for Sling, Hulu, etc.
Between Amazon ($9), NetFlix ($9), and Sling (I chose the $25 package) I get everything my family wants... for $150 less than cable.
I like.
Thanks for the great info - much appreciated!
Surfed to the Sling website and saw how they have savings on Roku devices - 50% off the Premier+ which looks like the sweet spot in the device lineup.
