Just a thought here. The Nobel Committee ought to award Donald J. Trump the Nobel prize in Economics. He’s already remaking our economy and the world’s. He’s engaging in a splendid new type of game theory. Remember when economist John Nash (A Beautiful Mind) was awarded the Economics Nobel for the mere theory game theory? Trump is actually putting into practice a new theory of economics and the interrelationships between populations, classes and countries, striving to make it all work. The world’s broken, the Rust Belt needs to be reintegrated into the playbook. This is an exciting time.

“She should zipper her mouth.”

Some have said Trump should zip his mouth for the same reason, that he is hurting himself. I don’t agree. Palin, too, has every right to express her opinions. She was not accusing him of crony capitalism.

Let her be the lightning rod. She will have no position in the Trump Administration.

Watching Sunday Talk Show Moderators pontificate about ‘mistakes’ Trump’s making is like watching the Philadelphia Phillies lecture the Chicago Cubs on how to play baseball.

Most of the politicians of both parties are bought and paid for by their corporate paymasters and special interests. Even the unions have been bought off rather than defend American workers. Mass immigration is one such example.

....Politicians picking and choosing recipients of corporate welfare is railed against by fiscal conservatives, for it’s a hallmark of corruption. And socialism. The Obama Administration dealt in it in spades. Recall Solyndra, Stimulus boondoggles, and all their other taxpayer-subsidized anchors on our economy. A $20 trillion debt-ridden country can’t afford this sinfully stupid practice, so vigilantly guard against its continuance, or we’re doomed.

To equate what Trump did with Carrier to Solyndra is naive and incomparable at best.

Palin is trying to make a case that Trump is showing favoritism for Carrier over its competitors. Bizarre at best. He would undoubtedly make the same deal for any of Carriers competitors that were going to cause the U.S. to lose jobs to another country. For Trump its about keeping jobs in the US. Solyndra was about zero picking and choosing his favorite energy regardless of market dictations.

Palin is way off on comparing the two situations. She is confusing textbook theory with reality. The two are not always the same.

Disappointed to see Sarah do this, but she has chosen to truly put herself into the bin of obscurity with I’m feeling many of her past supporters like me and you.

..."bin of obscurity..."

Better to first arm yourself with facts.

Gov. Sarah Palin

I am ecstatic for Carrier employees! Their bosses just decided to keep shop onshore. What a relief for hundreds of workers. Merry Christmas Indiana! (Continue reading here... )

As the parent of Carrier wants to do lots of military business, it's obvious they accommodated the new administration. I don't see a problem leveraging interests to achieve US goals. That's what Donald does and will do worldwide.

Hey, Wake up China....we buy your stuff...we're you're biggest customer....gonna' play ball ?

George om "This Week" keeps pushing Mike Pence that Donald Trump made a false statement about the number of illegals who voted for Hillary Clinton.

George, they are UNDOCUMENTED. How do you know exactly how many undocumented people there are, and how many voted? Reagan was right, these liberals know so much that just isn't so...

still,(and you know how I revere Palin and always have, look at my tagline!,)I don’t see Trump showing favoritism over one company vs. another. My guess is he would do the same for any a/c company who was about to remove jobs from the U.S.Or for any company for that matter. He’s all about jobs not theory.

As kabar said, our economy is a matter of national security. We have to do what is necessary to keep it strong.

Yep, cooperate taxes are a business expense that increases operational revenues necessary to employ any work force. Democrat oppose decreases as they confuse constituents between cooperate and income taxes to imply unfair tax cuts for the rich.

When Palin supported McCain over JD Hayworth I was lost. Enjoyed her speech as Vice President Nominee at Republican convention.

Heavens to Besty! How earth shattering for you.

The unions, or more specifically, the rank and file union members, are coming around, Yugely:

Overall, the seven states that have manufactured the most cars so far this year all lined up behind Trump: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee and Missouri.

Trump carried 52% of the union vote in the battleground state of Ohio, far better than former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s 37% support. About half of Ohio voters believe trade with other countries costs American jobs, while 32% said trade creates jobs. Among those who think trade hurts jobs, 67% backed Trump.

An internal poll by the United Auto Workers union showed 28% support for Trump before the election, and another 6% of members were undecided. However, during a press conference following Trump’s victory, UAW President Dennis Williams conceded that the union’s poll may not have accurately reflected Trump’s overall support among auto workers.

A most interesting fact I'd forgotten came from "conservative commentator" Reihan Salam on CBS Face the Nation;

Hillary Clinton sponsored legislation while in the Senate criminalizing flag burning. Well gollllee, Wilbur.....imagine that !

Trump is actually putting into practice a new theory of economics and the interrelationships between populations, classes and countries, striving to make it all work.

Trump is putting US national interests first, a refreshing change. Uncle Sap is the largest debtor nation in the world. We can't afford to foot most of bill to defend the Free World. We can't afford these terrible trade deals that allow other nations to rip us off and result in our manufacturing base relocating overseas and offshoring American jobs. We can't afford open borders and mass legal immigration.

The world’s broken, the Rust Belt needs to be reintegrated into the playbook. This is an exciting time.

America is broken and broke. We can't continue on the same path. It is dawning on the rest of the world that the party is over. The US will start putting our interests and our people first.

You would think F. Chuck would support freedom in any part of the world including Taiwan, but he just doesn’t seem to think upsetting China’s government is a good thing, why? Appeasement is better?
