the true base of Dem voter.... They don’t get simple economics

Once had argument about politics with a Democrat, so then when I brought up (politely changing subject) the Federal Reserve got the admission they didn't know anything about it.

Heheh. No. I figure the point of making recount into a news item is for whatever taint factor the press can cast toward Trump, plus occupy broadcast time on a subject that isn't worth spending any time on.

Nobody is going to diss Trump at the airport like Cuba and China did Obama. They will see his tailpipes and get on his list.

I watched the first half hour of Fox Sunday and was impressed with Kellianne Conway’s responses to a hostile Chris Wallace, who showed his utter disdain for Trump by a derisive comment, he’s tweeting again. Wallace addressed Juan Williams in a more respectful manner than he did the conservatives on that panel. All the women who were defending Trump were very sharp. Then I turned it off when batsh## crazy Jill Stein came on.

Chris Wallace question on Romney was laughable, something about Trump not treating a man with that much expertise with respect.

All they have is the BS comment from Josh Earnest(who is always "Joshing" us and "seldom" Earnest)that Trump will have to do it 800 more times to keep up with zero.

A comment like that takes true nerve when the reality is that 100 million Americans, about 30% of the population, has stopped looking for work since there:

Are no friggin' jobs due to Obama's reign as dictator!!!!

The “smartest woman in the world” ran one of the dumbest campaigns ever .... I was constantly amazed at the mistakes the campaign was making & praying it would all “add up” to a Hilly loss and it did. Of course, the Trump Train was on the right track and gathering steam .... don’t want to diminish the credit for the great campaign he ran. My point here is that ZeroHedge gives the Clintons credit for being very smart & I’m not so sure they are, especially after reading many Wikileaks emails that were written by those closest to the Clintons & were not complimentary.

Anyway, I posted this article because it stuck in my mind that he was talking at length about the color ‘purple’ angle (maybe it was a subtle shout out to Oprah??? - just joking here) & I’d not seen anyone else do that. I don’t think ZH ever drew all his ramblings in the article down to a very fine point (due to, as you succinctly described it, “over-analyzing”). I DO think that there are enough grieving, distraught Clintonistas/leftists who would take the “purple” that BOTH Hilly & Bill were wearing Nov. 9 & somehow continue the solidarity ‘trend’ or whatever the heck they think it is. Back in ‘the day’, after a year or so, purple (lavender shades) was a ‘mourning’ color ... maybe that’s the angle .... /sarc & /more over-analysis :-)

Purple, especially a particular shade of it, is my very favorite color & I hate to see the Leftists wearing it, for whatever reason.

actually you guys get them first we get whats left.
I actually think that the huge bait schools you have just north of palm beach help keep the sailfish bite off the charts in your area.
If our boat gets 5-10 releases a day its a big deal.Meanwhile, in your area West Palm/Jupiter etc. you have boats getting 20-30 releases in a day! Huge difference.

Sarah Palin should know more than anyone that you cannot give the leftist media an inch of an argument that they can jump on. She should zipper her mouth. I do not wish to see her in the new Trump administration. Her time is past. Maybe she can run a charity collection for the next world disaster like a tsunami or the like.

I applaud her for holding Trump's feet to the fire. If cronyism is bad when 'RATS are in control, it should be unacceptable when a Republican engages in it.

Okay. Cue the Reagan/Chrysler and Reagan/Harley-Davidson arguments.

ABC This Weak signed off with a list of soldiers killed in action this week. While I haven't seen the end of every TW I have seen many and don't remember the In Memorium segment. They did it for years, but I sense a hiatus during the campaign.

I'd be happy to be corrected, but you know my suspicion.....now that a Republican is in the white house.

I don’t think you have to worry. Leftish trends are thrown to the curb when a new one comes along.

So this purple thing will be over soon.

There were some here going nuts a week or so ago about how it was a symbol of the Illuminati coup that was going to take place shortly to deprive Trump of his victory.

I’m sure some communist SJW living in her mother’s basement would LOVE that to be true, but it is very far-fetched.

Gov. Sarah Palin

I am ecstatic for Carrier employees! Their bosses just decided to keep shop onshore. What a relief for hundreds of workers. Merry Christmas Indiana!

We don’t yet know terms of the public/private deal that was cut to make the company stay, but let’s hope every business is equally incentivized to keep Americans working in America.

Foundational to our exceptional nation’s sacred private property rights, a business must have freedom to locate where it wishes. In a free market, if a business makes a mistake (including a marketing mistake that perhaps Carrier executives made), threatening to move elsewhere claiming efficiency’s sake, then the market’s invisible hand punishes. Thankfully, that same hand rewards, based on good business decisions.

But this time-tested truth assumes we’re operating on a level playing field.

When government steps in arbitrarily with individual subsidies, favoring one business over others, it sets inconsistent, unfair, illogical precedent. Meanwhile, the invisible hand that best orchestrates a free people’s free enterprise system gets amputated. Then, special interests creep in and manipulate markets. Republicans oppose this, remember? Instead, we support competition on a level playing field, remember? Because we know special interest crony capitalism is one big fail.

Politicians picking and choosing recipients of corporate welfare is railed against by fiscal conservatives, for it’s a hallmark of corruption. And socialism. The Obama Administration dealt in it in spades. Recall Solyndra, Stimulus boondoggles, and all their other taxpayer-subsidized anchors on our economy. A $20 trillion debt-ridden country can’t afford this sinfully stupid practice, so vigilantly guard against its continuance, or we’re doomed.

Reaganites learned it is POLICY change that changes economic trajectory. Reagan’s successes were built on establishing a fiscal framework that invigorated our entire economy, revitalized growth and investment while decreasing spending, tax rates, over-reaching regulations, unemployment, and favoritism via individual subsidies. We need Reaganites in the new Administration.

However well meaning, burdensome federal government imposition is never the solution. Never. Not in our homes, not in our schools, not in churches, not in businesses.

Gotta’ have faith the Trump team knows all this. And I’ll be the first to acknowledge concerns over a deal cut by leveraging taxpayer interests to make a manufacturer stay put are unfounded – once terms are made public.

But know that fundamentally, political intrusion using a stick or carrot to bribe or force one individual business to do what politicians insist, versus establishing policy incentivizing our ENTIRE ethical economic engine to roar back to life, isn’t the answer. Cajole only chosen ones on Main St or Wall St and watch lines stretch from Washington to Alaska full of businesses threatening to bail unless taxpayers pony up. The lines strangle competition and really, really, dispiritingly screw with workers’ lives. It’s beyond unacceptable, so let’s anticipate equal incentivizes and positive reform all across the field – to make the economy great again.

-Sarah Palin

Wait until they are forced to cover pizzagate! That will really take the starch out of their knickers. pizzagate and the huge pedpohoila ring it encompasses is continually heating up. Every week more and more is learned about the worldwide pedophilia ring that hides under the leadership of those who should be stopping it from every major U.S. agency to worldwide pedos in control in every major country there is.

Bring it on. The more the general public sees the true sleaze they have followed/adored the better.

I see it as a sense of urgency needed for a massive recovery in the private sector, Trump cannot yet effect too many regulations or enact legislation so he is persuading where possible.
