Green Party Drops Statewide Pennsylvania Recount
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) The Green Party is dropping its court case seeking a recount
of Pennsylvanias Nov. 8 presidential election. It had wanted to explore whether
voting machines and systems had been hacked and the election result manipulated.
The Green Partys filing came Saturday, saying it couldnt afford the $1 million bond the
court had set. A Commonwealth Court hearing had been scheduled in the case for Monday,
and the $1 million bond was due later that day.

Funny how things change when YOU have to spend YOUR OWN money???
Cannot hang this recount on the taxpayers.
I expect Michigan to change it’s laws regarding recounts in 2017. The current cost for a recount there is $125 per precinct. That amount must be outdated. Don’t know the average number of votes in any given precinct, but at $10 an hour, that only buys 12.5 hours of recounting per precinct.
They have to change the law to charge whatever it is going to cost for a candidate to get a recount.
The taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for any of this cost.
Its over.
Telling me that $1 million is worth the cost of recounting the entire state.
No added value there. Just as well the Greens couldn’t afford the bond.
I thought they had a ton of money. What, did she spend it all already on the new summer home on the lake? Or did Soros hav a recall?
