I do not believe these guys are Vets.....maybe want-a-b’s but not real vets....real Vets have a lot more brains...

Veterans are no different from anyone else with the sole exception that they served in the armed forces at one time. We are no better and no worse than anyone else, and we are entitled to no better or worse treatment than anyone else. Many vets are good people who were made better by their service, and some are terrible people who were made worse by their service.

A nation that no longer understands true heroism has fallen into a foolish, carte blanche worship of its police, firemen, military and veterans simply because they wear (or once wore) a uniform. It is a vacuous practice, and potentially a very dangerous one. Judge every man by his actions and the content of his character; otherwise, bow down and worship your soon-to-be master.

Yep. I hate the blind devotion to anyone in uniform.

Good post. My dad was in the AF and he use to say the same thing. (i.e. While it is appropriate to respect their service, everyone who served is not a fricken hero. Audie Murphy and Sgt York - now those guys were heros.)
