I can certainly see where the federal government has a legitimate stake in how state elections for federal offices are held. See also post #134.
Incorrect.
I’d have to research it, but I’m sure it was a bill. I do not recall any state challenging it in court. That would be interesting.
They can only count remaining absentees, provisionals, and the (re-count)
few counties (20%?) in PA without touch screens.
Not enough there, Jill/Hill/Soros. Next time, after the Trump revolution, you will need to pre-program your Diebold touch screen counties, um, at the servers.
Why is the state taking the Stein side and arguing against the Trump side? Shouldn’t Stein have to argue that?
Well, with good reason then. I defer.
Yes. Philadelphia...
Sorry but I don’t believe 20,000 military votes were for Hillary.
it’s the inclusion of the absentee ballots and provisional which is where most of the dead votes.

Read it again, Hattie. They weren't all military votes. The count included military votes...and overseas votes (non-military)...and garden variety absentee ballots.
Wow. Do you think they are rigging it for Hillary?
Someone at the CNBC comments section pointed out that there were actually previously UNCOUNTED absentee ballots in Philly and NOT recounted votes. But are there 50,000 other UNCOUNTED absentee ballots in Pennsylvania?
I dont know.>>> from the article: Nearly three weeks after the election, the City of Philadelphia has finished counting votes, including absentee and provisional ballots.
they will most likely certify. nothink left to do.

I watched a re-count in WA state some years ago for a governors race. In liberal King County, mysteriously, boxes of absentee ballots kept being found
well we use machines in philly. so i guess they would have to find some extra memory sticks.
it is totals. here are some numbers: In Philadelphia, the new totals show Trump with 108,000 votes compared to Clintons 584,000. Trumps numbers in the city are significant, as he won about 12,000 more votes than Mitt Romney did in 2012, despite Philly having 7,000 fewer registered Republicans this time around. (The city in general had 3,000 more registered voters.) However, John McCain beat them both in 2008 with 117,000 votes in Philadelphia.

Prayers offered up. We’ll see Monday what the decision is about a possible PA recount.
Thank you. I do wonder why Trump is blue and Hillary is red.
From the article in PA Gazette
"A big chunk of newly counted Clinton votes came from Philadelphia. Several counties are still finalizing totals, but Douglas Hill of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania says there arent enough uncounted ballots outstanding to change the outcome of Pennsylvanias presidential election"
Here’s the link.
“They dont count provisional and some late arriving mail in unless the amount is higher than the remaining separation between the top candidates.”

This is why AP called the race for trump on wed morning, Nov 9th. They were aware there were not enough mail in and provisional ballots left to make enough of a difference to change the result even if every one of them went to Clinton (unlikely).
When the first results of the provisional and absentee ballots were reported Trump’s lead actually dropped to 46,000 but since some of the outlying (conservative) counties reported his lead actually went back up to 49,000+
