It’s not crony capitalism if President Trump issued nothing but threats. We do not and will not know what was said behind closed doors. I love Sarah and know her personally, but trust Trump on this.
The $7 million in tax breaks wasn't a "threat". True, it came from Indiana via Mike Pence rather than the U.S. via Trump, but it is still an out-and-out subsidy from the Indiana taxpayers.
Are any other Indiana employers eligible for a comparable tax cut?
If not, it counts as "corporate cronyism".
