The word “again” is where the difference comes in. It implies we want some things in the future that we think were great in the past.
When conservatives look at the past and pick out things that were great we think
* growing economy
* improving quality of life (for everyone)
* kids doing better than their parents (and having two parentS)
* innovation (technical, business, construction,...)
* world leadership in most areas
We can be proud of the great things we want to bring from the past to the future.
When liberals look at what they think made the past great they come up with
* Jim Crow laws
* slavery
* discrimination
* segregation
Why do they think those are the great things from the past?

A: Because those liberal ideas were instituted, enforced and defended *BY* Democrats.
What do I win?
