THIS is why I have supported Trump since the beginning.

For the entire last generation, everyone in both political parties has been sold out to a small group of people, who are busy selling companies to China.

They keep 49 percent of the company, which is now Chinese, in all but name. The jobs, the manufacturing know-how, and 51 percent of the profits go to China.

BOTH PARTIES have been sold out, for years, and years. And years. Everyone. Everywhere.

Trump stood up prior to this election, and made it clear he was opposed to the sell-out.

Mr. President-elect, THIS is why I voted for you.

I quit my job about one year ago. Left voluntarily, but the company was busy sending every job they could south of the border.

We used to have an enormous presence in the United States. Not now. Now it is becoming all about Central and South America.

I worked there for 20 years. But I left. So many Americans have similar stories.

Everyone is sold out.

Except it seems, for you. We are counting on you, to change things.

For real.

Go Trump. President Trump.

Make us proud, once again.

Consequences is more than I am willing to support but, if he wants offer incentives, that’s different and I will support that.

This is wrong. Reagan set the example- reduce taxes and regulations and business will grow, employment will rise. Threats aren’t the way to go. Threatening some sort of retaliation will be counterproductive in the end. This should make people uneasy. It does me.

“unusual level of intervention by the White House into private enterprise.”

Really? Like stopping offshore drilling? Stonewalling on pipelines? Strangling coal-based electricity generation? Prosecution of entrepreneurs for not wanting to violate their religion? No, no unusual level of intervention into private enterprise by the WH there. Screw you, WaPo.

When Obama does it it’s not, “an unusual level of intervention by the White House into private enterprise.” Bailouts, tax halts, IRS targeting... Trump should mail every media organization an American history book so they can keep up.

No country can survive economically without heavy industry. Over the years we’ve seen heavy industry leave our Shores and go offshore allowing those countries to take on our heavy industry and prosper.
Argentina around 1900 had a standard of living which riveled the U.S. if not exceeding the U.S. standard of living. Then heavy industry started trickling out of Argentina and Argentina was only restored when an oncoming Administration realized but no country can survive economically without heavy industry and heavy industry was once again instituted within the borders of Argentina allowing it to rise again as an economic and viable country.
If you look at EPA rules in our current state of a gross lack of heavy industry to sustain our economy, you will notice that regulation in most cases has driven heavy industry to other countries with much less regulation. And that is the root cause of the problem.

I would like to know the reasons why these companies are moving offshore.

If it is because of regulations and taxes, then those issues must be addressed.

Trump needs to find out what makes US manufactured goods uncompetitive and remove them.
