I will! Thanks! I am not a sweets person, but my husband is and we lost his mom in October. Plus he had to have surgery on his back and well damn it, after 10 years of marriage I have all the stuff I need to bake!

SO to make my sweetie happy, I will bake!

Right now I am having some fabulous Black Box Wine, Red Elegance and some store bought fudge! Yum!

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear about you MIL’s passing, your hubby’s back surgery. My hubby had back surgery a few years ago and it was a wonderful success ~ It took a long time to completely heal, and he purposely didn’t do much for about 8 - 10 months, but it paid off. Now he feels strong and able again.

One of our Freepers (apologies, can’t remember who!) recently posted this super easy way to make fudge. Again, pardon my short-hand instructions!
Fudge, Quick & Easy!

4 c confectioners’ sugar
1/2 c cocoa powder
1/4 c milk
1/2 c butter
2 t vanilla extract

Grease 8x8” pyrex dish, set aside.

In microwave bowl, stir together sugar + cocoa.

Pour milk over mix. (OR MELT MILK & BUTTER SEPARATELY FIRST.)

Place butter in bowl. Do not mix.

Microwave til butter melted, approx. 2 min.

Stir in vanilla, stir vigorously til smooth.

Pour into pyrex dish. Freeze 15 min (til hard) before cutting into squares.
