While one may ‘admire’ the fact he will not be hypocritical like some of the other ‘turncoats’ that hopped on the bandwagon (Romney & Haley - two just as vociferous as Kasich), he is just shooting himself in the other foot.
If the Governor of a State that boycotts his parties convention (Basically ensuring NEVER AGAIN) survives, this is merely sticking to his guns.

Almost like Vets saying that the Pres (whoever) should not bother to ‘disgrace himself’ by showing up at Arlington Cemetery or the VFW or American Legion Convention on appropriate days, will ‘P&Moan’ if he doesn’t show up.
