Wasn’t Mitt’s dad, George, governor of Michigan back in the 60s? I remember being at the Ionia Fair with my grandfather, and he went up and talked to George, called him “governor”, but seemed to know him.
yes Dad (George) was governor of Michigan. He ran against Nixon in the Pres. Rep Primary.
