Wife and I went through the McD's drive-thru last night. She had a hankering for an ice cream cone. The drive-thru kiosks in my area now use an IVR (integrated voice response) system to take your order. They ask if you want breakfast or lunch/dinner. Then you tell them your order, and it's programmed to do everything without human interaction. The only time a human interacts is if the system doesn't recognize a command.

We are getting closer and closer to Idiocracy everyday.

That movie Idiocracy was probably written by liberals to make fun of dumb ‘rednecks’ and describe the world as it would be if us rednecks were to take over.

Has anyone noticed when ordering at a drive thru these days, they ask to take your order, then don’t listen, then you have to start all over?
Or maybe it’s an entire generation being raised on ADHD drugs and antidepressants.
