McAuliffe Says Clinton Is Finished With Politics

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a longtime friend and associate of Bill and Hillary Clinton, said Wednesday that he thinks Hillary is finished with politics, the Washington Post reported.
During an interview on WTOP’s “Ask the Governor” program, McAuliffe said that Clinton’s loss to President-elect Donald Trump has been especially tough for the Clintons.
“I mean, this is hard on anybody,” he said. “I mean, can you imagine having to go through this? I’ve had many conversations with the Clinton family. We’re friends. It’s hard, very tough. I think on Election Day everybody felt pretty good. I think the Trump campaign thought they were gonna lose. And you know, this is what happens in elections.”
McAuliffe went on to say that he thinks Hillary will leave the political arena.
“I think so, sure. I don’t think Hillary has any interest in running again. I’ll let her speak for herself. I haven’t asked her that. I think the president’s probably going to go back, working on all the good deeds he’s done before in helping people around the globe,” McAuliffe said.

I’m absolutely flummoxed that the MSM didn’t realize that, too.
Clinton knew she was going to lose prior to election day (she cancelled her fireworks a few days prior) and Trump knew he was going to win (he was campaigning in states that should have been safe for The Beast.) The campaigns spend a lot of money on unbiased polls and have access to party insider information as far down as the precinct level. It was only the idiots relying on the mainstream media for their information who on election day thought she was going to lose. This election was anything but an upset.

Correction: McAuliffe would tell the truth to an ER doc if he was in excruciating pain and the doc was asking him where it hurts.
No she won’t; Hell isn’t a democracy or a Representative Republic.

Health problems would be the only thing to stop her short of a prosecution for her crimes. We will see how serious her health problems really were.
Do you have any proof for that assertion? I can understand using her health issues during the campaign, but how serious are they really? No one really knows. Saying she will die within the next four years is really just hyperbole. We used to hear the same thing about Castro for over a decade.

There is no doubt that Trump is the more vigorous and vital of the two, but Hillary has just gone through a demanding campaign schedule traveling and speaking all over the country as well as appearing on national television in three taxing debates preceded by a series of debates in the primaries. There are not many 69 year olds who could stand up to the demands of a year long campaign.
Hillary Clinton is obsessed with attaining the WH. She failed in her first attempt at getting the nomination in 2008. In 2016 she got the nomination and failed at being elected to the Presidency. I see her trying again in 2020. She won the popular vote in 2016 with the third (and possibly second) highest total in American history.
Clinton must be prosecuted and held accountable for her crimes. It is the only way to be sure that she is "finished with politics." Unless we drive a stake thru the hearts of the Clintons, they will remain a divisive and dangerous force in our national polity.
