The four busy rush hour stations were shutdown this evening as people were evacuated from King's Cross and Euston Square.
Emergency alarms sounded throughout the two London Underground stations with automated announcements informing people to get out.
Large crowds gathered outside the station and commuters queued in the cold on streets of London.
Passengers are understood to have been evacuated due to "overcrowding" and stations have remained closed due to "crowd control".
Apparently as many as 8 are now closed.
Whoa 8?
Zombies.
See you in 28 days. Maybe.
Due to over crowding and crowd control.
Right. Want to buy some beachfront property I have in Florida? Cheap.
Nothing is better for crowd control than alarms going off and telling people to run
Might be 28 weeks...
Mayor Khan says all is good.
I'm trying to pretend I'm not excited by that idea.
Nothing strange when it comes to London tube.
My experience with Train system in UK
- Train delayed for hours because of “Wrong type of leaves on track”
- Train delayed for hours because “Replacement driver is waiting on different station”
- Train delayed for hours on suspicion that someone may be in tunnel.
- Train delayed for hours because few drunks decided to walk on track.
England eh? Shaun of the Dead!
I’ve known all of the above, but not closing multiple stations at once.
London calling.....
Nothing is true until it is officially denied.
I clicked to find out what the ‘tubes’ are.
Looking forward to implementation of Agenda 21/30 that will have us all queue’d up in megadowntowns.
Seems this may be down to a lady stuck under a train! Not sure how that happens, but explains the situation. Hopefully she can be rescued!
Mayor Khan says all is good we’re just installing Prayer Rugs for passenger convenience
....to the zombies of death :)
