Does anybody recall what kind of opposition R’s put up to Lynch?
There was non. SESSIONS voted to confirm. There is a tradition of giving the president a good amount of leeway in cabinet appointments, as they are “his people.” Less is given in judicial appointments, as they are independent and in for life. However, we know how the rats feel about tradition.
Yeah, none.
“Does anybody recall what kind of opposition Rs put up to Lynch?”
Do the R’s know how to oppose anything but conservatives in their own party?
What opposition?
