I don't really buy the "Trump can't trust Romney" scenario.

A weak leader (Obama) surrounds himself with sycophants.
A strong leader (Trump) will select a powerhouse team.

Mob bosses don’t get other mob bosses to be their counselor. If they did there would have to be a “kiss the ring” moment. A show of loyalty and commitment to the man and the cause.
