California is challenging the historic status of American citizenship with measures to permit non-citizens to sit on juries and monitor polls for elections...

So what is to stop them from voting?
“...monitor polls for elections”
As Church Lady would say, “how conveeeenient.”
It appears that California is setting itself up to cede part of the state to Mexico. Where will the new border be?
They already speak Spanish, learn Spanish in school, and dominate the politics. Why bother to seek citizenship in the USA?
This madness has to stop-go Trump
In Illinois corrupt civil servants sold drives licenses to illegals long before they could get licenses legally. I’ve known illegals who were called to jury duty. They just accepted it as part of accepting that they had a license.
BTW, back in the day, most of those illegals with licenses were from Europe, not Hispanics. It wasn’t until later that Oscar Lopez successfully organized for illegal Hispanics to get equal access to licenses via bribes.

A jury of my peers?
California the trash can for defective brains marked Abby Normal.
So when does the DOJ step in? This is, in my mind, a treasonous act and should be grounds for kicking CA out of the Union. Kick them out. Do not fund them for anything. Make them set up their own system of taxation and benefits. Let them GO. Close the borders ...but not before the people from NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Philly, etc. join them. All those people who think “Sweet Home Alabama” has some secret message to cause grief to Snowflakes must join the hordes heading for CA.
I sorrow for my misquided Democrat relatives. Maybe the border could be just south of Clearlake, Yuba City, Grass Valley and Truckee. Then impose a declaration of desire for citizenship in either California or The State of Jefferson or Northern Calif and the Union.
If wishes were beggers how high they would fly.
>California Gives Expanded Rights to Non-Citizens
Someone needs some Civics classes....govt doesn’t give Rights (and I have NO idea what ‘expanded Rights’ refers).
