I am so sorry beautiful Tennessee is in the situation we here in CA always find ourselves. So many healthy trees. So much rain. How??
We haven’t seen significant rainfall in TN since August. Very dry. Tonight we finally got some here in Nashville.
I AM convinced here it is the Govt, they hit the rural areas where lots of Vets and Preppers lived also some Militia areas, burning our cover right off the top of us.
I’m in Northern Alabama and we have been experiencing a terrible drought. Tonight we finally received our first measurable rain in almost 4 months. It is dangerously dry. Alabama has also been suffering wildfires.
Tomorrow night, thankfully, we are expected to receive up to 3 inches of rain. Unfortunately, they are predicting a chance of tornadoes also. At this point, We’ll take the tornado risk to get some wonderful rain:)
I hate to see this. Gatlinburg and the Smokies are so beautiful. This horrid drought has devastated much of the South. Hopefully, they will also receive a good rain.
It’s been very dry here the past few months; we’ve been under a burn ban and have had brush and wildfires all over East and Middle Tennessee for weeks.
North Georgia is burning as well....this area has been in a severe drought since this past summer.....
California style wildfires have become the norm...
Atlanta has been under a smoke watch for the past two months...
Fortunately, we have rain right now for the first time in over 90 days....and it heavy....should be 3-4 inches over the next day...
