That was freaky when I first saw that. Do we know whether this guy is for real, with a real life history, high school yearbook pictures, etc.?

James is not a French name. There were 2 apostles named James, and neither of them were French.

“Alefantis” actually is a tranliteration to English of the Greek word for “elephant”, not French, and nothing to do with children.
