Thanks for the sanity. This pizzagate is ridiculous. I for one wish FR would ban it.
I don't think it should be banned.
Getting it out there provides the opportunity to expose it and show how stupid the idea is. FR plenty of people with the requisite critical thinking skills, but there has been a huge influx of people that don't -- and sometimes it is a losing battle.
I do think that some posters should be warned, and perhaps their posting privileges suspended until after a "review", but that puts a lot of workload on moderators.
Perhaps the answer is instead to flag a thread as a hoax, and point to the refutation. You've seen my post #21 -- post #65 fills in the rest of the gaps with news articles published the same day as Breitbart's tweets. I expect this will probably come up again -- I'll post them again and ask the moderator to modify the title.
I think a lot of people are learning the truth. But, there are still too many that don't understand they are victims of confirmation bias.
