“OK, somebody help me please.”

OK, I’ll take a stab at it. Right now there is only one recount going on, which is Wisconsin. It appears Michigan may have one, but has more stringent rules for a request. Pennsylvania requires proof and a court order, and a recount there sill likely never happen.

So let’s say the WI recount does not meet the deadline, then most likely WI electoral votes will not count. This still gives Trump 296 votes. Let’s say they flip WI, it still gives Trump 296 votes with Hiterly just 10 more.

Let’s say they cause enough stalling to make enough states irrelevant so Trumps total is less than 270. Then the House decides. And since it’s Republican owned, Trump will be the Prez.

Not true.

If the re-count is not completed in time to meet the constitution's requirement for certification on 12/13, the state legislature is empowered to appoint its own slate of electors. It is this slate that will vote in the Electoral College on 12/19.

Given that both houses of the Wisconsin legislature are controlled by Republicans, there is no doubt as to who they will be voting for.

For the record, both houses of the Michigan and Pennsylvania legislatures are also controlled by Republicans.

Nope. The certified results stand. If the certified results are overturned then the electors are not appointed, then Trump wins the majority. He does not need 270, just a majority of appointed electors.

IF a state cannot certify their vote count, I think that those ‘electoral votes’ would have to be deducted from the total of 538

Therefore, the new number to get a majority of would be 528.

Then Trump only needs 265. Trump has 306 now—so then he would have 296 & still be the winner.

IF any states votes cannot be certified, then those electoral votes must be deducted & new number reached.

While you're pontificating, could you hazard a guess as to how many Republican "Never Trumpers" are still lurking in Congress?
