At least 58 people were shot in Chicago over Thanksgiving weekend, leaving eight dead as the city faces the highest number of homicides in more than a decade.
The latest victim is an 18-year-old who was shot dead in his vehicle at 2pm on Sunday, NBC reported.
Two gunmen outside a house party on Saturday night left one dead and five others injured, while another shooting killed a 16-year-old boy on Friday evening.
In October, Chicago surpassed 600 homicides this year, in numbers that have not been seen since 2003. There were 468 murders in 2015, and 416 the year before.

Somebody should protest.

Rahm Emmanuel bet the over.
Obamistan.
I’m constantly hearing about all these shootings in Chicago. Maybe the liberals running that cesspool should consider gun control there. They are always preaching it for the rest of us. Why don’t they practice what they preach?
I’m shocked the Obamas don’t want to go back to Chicago when he leaves office
Don’t worry, illegals will be safe there.......
The Chicago way. And Rahm can dance right through it. Only thing he’s actually trained for.

Maybe they should try electing more Democrats. </Sarc>
I’m sure that illegal aliens are feeling safe, thanks to Rahmbo’s statement...
I’m willing to bet that the majority of those killed are American citizens.
Rahm Emmanuel is willing to accept a level of murder and violence to keep the peasants compliant. Hard to believe that the dumb masses is Chicago haven’t rebelled against their Kapos, who continually pledge their allegiance to the leftist dem criminals who run the city and state. But they made their choice, and now THEY need to live with it.

Other coverage notes that in addition to the 8/58 three perps were shot and killed by police over the extended weekend as well. Guess it’s a good thing that’s not the media’s headline.
