I almost didn’t want to believe this. The news let us down before, letting us believe this Communist piece of filth had died. I woke up an hour ago at 3 and saw that my son had tagged me with this on FB. Part of me feels numb, part immensely sad that both of my parents, especially Mami, passed before seeing this day. I think of all Cuban patriots of the land of my birth who died and were tortured at the hands of this cruel animal.
But now it is sinking in and I am crying tears of joy and relief. May his brother fall soon, too, and may Communism in Cuba die with them, that God’s people may be free to do a great work there. May the new President of my adopted and beloved America build a beautiful hotel resort there!
Forgive me for such a long post. This is finally sinking in, and I am going to celebrate this day!
