Kobach has been an immigration advisor (and very early supporter) to Mr. Trump since shortly after Trump announced he was a candidate, and thus, is in an ideal spot to be selected.

.Kris has argued court cases and written or mostly written tough immigration laws as well as voter ID laws around the nation.

He is also a Constitutional expert and has taught Constitutional law at law schools!

A close and personal friend to Sheriff Joe Arpayo as well.
