I understand the saying "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer".

But in Mitt Romney's case he has been neutralized by his well documented backstabbing of Trump and doesn't pose much of a threat now.

Back stabber Paul Ryan is a different story as Ryan still has power and is the House Majority leader and Trump will need him.

Get Mitt Romney away from the seat of Trump's power, he can't be trusted. Don't appoint Mitt to anything. -Tom ,

Good advice Captain! Keep Romney, that slick talking dude away from any position in the administration. Looking back on 2012, he was a throw-away candidate and performed only so-so as such. He wouldn't have won against Hilliary this year if he was elected in 2012.
