Election day I came home and put a red shirt on before we went to vote. Husband says, “why are did you change”? I said you sit on Free Republic all day! Figure it out!
I worked the polls in my red shirt. Several came in wearing red. The cutest was a family with daughter voting for the first time. They stood together at the ballot machine and entered ballots together. Then a group hug and high five with giggles.
Other than the three year old who chanted trump-trump-trump-trump-trump-trump while his uncle voted, no one seemed to notice.
What would our husbands do without us to explain things to them?
;-)
You know, I think I really really want an Adorable Deplorable t-shirt.
I bought a red Polo shirt specifically for that day! When in line, a fellow came up behind me wearing a red shirt. I struck up a conversation and asked if he wore red for a reason. He said yes and that at 42, this was his first time ever voting. I just knew who for, without a doubt! Ha!
