SEVERAL picks so far. LOTS of speculation and misinformation along the way
This week the country loudly let the PEOTUS know mittens was not on most favored list. Trump let the media know they were NOT on his most favored list. A snark designer who helped keep MO tacky advised other designers to stay away from Melania professionally. We ate too much probably on Thanksgiving and we possibly weren't appreciative enough of the blessings in this life.

Then I researched what happened to his father and picked him back up when he went to real talk the OWS people by informing them they were protesting the wrong parties.

I agree. I should have taken into consideration yesterday that it’s the holiday season before moving lysie to the corner. Sometimes the temptation to tyranny is hard to resist. ;-)

There was a little discussion yesterday here about Elaine Chao as potential Transportation Secretary. I found this first hand post by SubMareener to be very interesting (thanks SM!):
Mrs. Submareener worked in Elaine Chao’s DOL. She told me that the bureaucrats were always complaining, while riding in the elevators, about her wanting “results” and how terrible that was. Actually, Mrs. Submareener was high enough up in the DOL hierarchy to be among the dozen or so who were invited to Elaine Chao’s dedication of the 9/11 memorial at the DOL HQ in Washington, DC. She also had lunch with her several times.
Mrs. Submareener is an extremely good judge of character, so when she says Elaine Chao is “good people”, it is good enough for me.
Also, catnipman made these good points on another thread: Chao is a brilliant appointment that joins the Senate Majority Leader to President Trump’s hip right from the gitgo, and nearly guarantees that Mitch delivers the entire GOP Senate to Trump on nearly every issue for four years.
Not to mention, the woman has excellent experience and credentials, and clearly has amazing political instincts and capabilities since she’s pretty much the power that’s pushed the Mitch throne into the forefront since she married him in 1993.
Also, do keep in mind that Cabinet heads exist SOLELY to carry out a President’s orders. Period. They’re like VPs in a corporation who exist solely to implement the CEO’s policy and philosophy. Their jobs are NOT to set policy and philosophy, but to IMPLEMENT policy and philosophy. They all know that when they’re appointed.

The DUmmies were blaming the media in general during the election for Trump’s win. They seem to have moved on to blaming their VP pick and having a bad candidate.
Not sure which stage of grief this is. LOL
Have you read his book “The Real Crash”?
I haven’t read the book but like you, I know he knows of what he talks.
My agenda for the day is to do a little housework and laundry and to gather and store autumn decorations in between keeping an eye on you rowdy Deplorables!
I may begin working on a scheme to keep my husband busy after retirement because his last day of work is Friday!!! I’m afraid he may be more difficult to corral than lysie is!

In my dream, Schiff walked around the office floor delegating the task of calculating massive refunds to one cubicle group, fired all the auditors, and then made the ones responsible for targeting Tea Party groups march the entire length of Pennsylvania Avenue with their underwear on their heads.
Then he disbanded the IRS.
It was a good dream.
I suspect DJT takes a B12 dose daily. It sure helps. Just switch to a liquid drop
Lots of energy. Much better than the infections and spider bites was dealing with this time last year.

Imposing tyranny is a hobby of mine which sometimes can get out of hand.
Rest assured that I always ease up on my tyrannical grip when I realize that somebody’s noticed.

What happened to Peter Schiff’s dad?
"Schiff was born to a middle-class family[12] in New Haven, Connecticut. His father, Irwin, the son of Jewish immigrants from Poland, served in the US Army during World War II. Irwin was a prominent figure in the US tax protester movement, who died in federal prison in October 2015 while he was serving a sentence of at least 13 years for tax evasion.[13][14]
His parents divorced when he was young, and he moved around the country with his mother and his brother, Andrew, from Connecticut to Manhattan to Florida and finally Southern California.[12] He credits his father for introducing him to the Austrian School of economic thought.[15]
Schiff was educated at Beverly Hills High School and obtained a Bachelor of Science with a double major in finance and accounting from University of California, Berkeley, in 1987.[16]
On October 20, 2015, Tax Notes Today reported that Schiff accused the Federal Bureau of Prisons of inhumanely treating his father, who had died in prison four days earlier, and not allowing the usual humanitarian release."
