Fans hoping to get a glimpse of a young Albus Dumbledore will need to wait for the second movie, part of a five-part prequel series planned by Warner Bros. But although the older Dumbledore never revealed his sexual orientation in the books or films it was the author herself who coaxed him out of the closet during a 2007 interview at Carnegie Hall the younger incarnation of the character might be less private. Well, Im very comfortable with the question, Rowling said to reporters when asked about a gay Dumbledore. I would like to say because this is obviously a five-part story, theres lots to unpack in that relationship.
You will see Dumbledore as a younger man and quite a troubled man, Rowling added. Well see him at that formative period of his life. As far as his sexuality is concerned, she said taking a beat, watch this space.

The author revealed years ago that Dumbledore is gay. If you have seen the new movie "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," you have seen Johhny Depp's character- Gellert Grindelwald. According to J.K. Rowling herself: "First, the biggest revelation of the night came when Jo revealed to her audience the fact that Albus Dumbledore is gay and had fallen in love with fellow wizard and friend, Gellert Grindelwald. This elicited a huge reaction and prolonged ovation. So much so, it promoted Jo to say:
If I had known this would have made you this happy, I would have announced it years ago.
If you have seen Fantastic Beasts, you know that the story revolves around the plotline that if you are magical, but you repress your gayness, I mean magic, then your gayness turns into a fearsome black mass of energy that kills everything in its path.
Chief among the oppressors forcing young gay, I mean magical children from being themselves are the evil repressed Christians, I mean "Second Salemers"-who want a "Second Salem" to kill all the gays, I mean witches.
My point being that you'll want to avoid the next movie(s) as they will no doubt contain lots of box-office-poison gay love scenes. Gay relationships work wonders for science fiction/fantasy movies since the majority of audience members are teen boys.
Gay Sulu in the recent "Star Trek Beyond" did nothing for the bottom line. Audiences (and teen boys) stayed away in droves.
Here is Sulu's "husband" with their daughter.
Then of course, there was the miserable "Independence Day" 2 flop, starring gay Dr. Okum with his gay lover:
Gays and transgender people are less than 1% of the Earth's population. But liberals don't care, they just keep ramming this freakishness down our throats. They can appeal to 1 % of the population, but they certainly aren't getting my hard-earned shekels.
What the occult couldn’t do . . . the perversion of sodomy will - keep people away from the Harry Potter series.
Well, at least people that should know better.
I don’t need to see this movie. yuk
TMI.
Fantastic Feces and How To Mine It. SKIP.
Harry Potter is just your old-fashioned good vs. evil tale, wrapped in wizardry.
No, thanks.
Thanks for the information.
I won’t waste my time with this gay crap.
The more I see this stuff... the fake news narrative and the like the more I’m convinced that we would have been fighting for the right to not attend man-boy love marriages in ten years had Clinton won.
The good news is that the other side doesn’t get it and continues to double down... giving us the chance to stay away.
It was, until it wasn’t . . . the series became very dark after prisoner of Azkaban.
I’m already sick and tired of all the gay and transgender crap we are forced to see on TV and the movies. Forced is the correct word because we have no say at all in the matter if we want to continue to watch TV and movies.
I never want to see another gay couple kissing (or worse) on the screen again. It will never be normal. It will never be right. I accept it but don’t like it. Moving on....
They just can’t help themselves. No one cares. No one wants to see the hero get the “guy.” It adds zero interest to the plot. They went and shoved it in a fine and fun episode of “The Walking Dead,” and sure enough the show became dead to me. I don’t want to sit around watching a zombie horror flick only to have all these stupid social justice warriors shoved in my face. There are some instances where it is interesting part of plots but the shows start that way. Like “Zombies of Mass Destruction.” Our heroes are a gay couple and it adds some levity to the movie.
Albus Dumbledore? If any hack author chose to invent a fictional character who was a down low/secretly/closeted/queer/fag ~ what better name would/could they possibly choose?
Albus Dumbledore? Did anyone else see that queerness coming from beyond a mile away?
The conflict between the good wizards (Harry and friends) and the bad ones (mostly He Who Must Not Be Named) is THE thread that runs through all of the series. And ultimately, the “good guys” win out.
And now the series shifts to a sodomite-recruitment video.
‘Gay’ is children’s stories is nothing but porn to recruit them.
He waves his wand with a swish and goes poof.
Brokeback Hogwarts.
I won’t go see it. I stopped watching Depp movies yearsvago.
The Love interests these days just turn your stomach
