Does Hillary Clinton still have a path to the White House?
That’s the provocative question posed by some computer security experts, who think voting results in key states could have been manipulated by hackers.
The emphasis here is on “could.” There’s no clear evidence that voting machines were rigged or that ballots were altered, but as reported Tuesday night in New York magazine, a group of computer scientists and election lawyers has urged Clinton to call for a recount in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, three swing states that Donald Trump won--to the surprise of just about every pollster, pundit, and journalist in America. Clinton would have to win those states back in order to change the outcome of the election. And while it’s tempting to blame hackers, and not the failure of the political professional class, for Trump’s upset, experts warn not to get your hopes up for a shocking turnaround. For hackers to have changed the votes in three states would have been even more surprising than Trump’s victory.
“There is zero evidence of tampering right now. Zero,” David Becker, the executive director of the Center for Election Innovation and Research, told The Daily Beast. The simpler explanation for why the vote deviated from expectations and historical trends was that Barack Obama wasn’t at the top of the ticket. The results for Clinton “only look off when you compare them to the Obama elections” in 2008 and 2012, Becker said.
Never overestimate the character of liberals bent on their agenda. The end always justifies the means with these people and murder, fraud, and deceit are merely a vehicle to that end.
Me thinks Jill has some campaign debts to pay off?
Lefties. Illiberals. They want to pry stuff from your fingers, while they gloat.
Consider the "coincidences" now lining up.
1) The filing in Wisconsin has to be tomorrow. Jill stein just got enough money to file there as of today.
2) Jill stein takes the heat for filing for recounts instead of the hildabeast. What possible gain can stein achieve except political favor from the hildabeast?
3) The main theme of this effort will be "every vote should count" an election 2000 redux. Since all of the hildabeast's 2M popular vote excess comes from kalifornia expect legal filings through in the 9th circus appeals court.
4) Since the SCOTUS is ideologically tied any appeal to that level would at best be a tie leaving the lower court ruling to stand if not outright affirming it.
5) We are just beginning to see the scope of this attempt to steal the election. It is no coincidence it is being done at the 11th hour. It was strategically planned to offer the least amount of reaction time by Trump.
Did the scenario catch Donald unawares? I doubt it. There were enough people on his all star team who know what a bunch of snakes lurked here.
What puzzles me is why in the face of being mathematically impossible to prevail (Green party) that candidate can provoke a recount when those who far dwarfed that candidate’s vote don’t or can’t?
Donald can dig too, though. I’d like to see him poke into Minnesota, for instance. Lots of dirty laundry to air whether or not he could flip it.
And... when digging into Minnesota he could point out that state’s storied industrial past that has now rusted along with the rest of the rust belt. Remember 3M? He could proclaim that he thought the good Minnesotans really did want an industrial revival and he’s going to now prove it.
Anyhow, we now know who the political turkey is this Thanksgiving. Jill Stein. At least she’s the one being presented on the platter. Who are the (spirit) cooks here? That would be an interesting story.
The green party is a very thinly disguised socialist communist party that would do anything to overturn Trump's election. Stein cannot gain but is a perfect surrogate conduit to give it all to the hildabeast. The exchange in favors might be a cabinet posting for stein.
Guillotines ... from orbit. It’s the only cure.
But this is weirder. If Stein wanted to give votes to Hillary, then Stein could have just bowed out about 2 weeks prior to the election.
I think this is going to raise some dust, but won’t unseat Donald. I see far too much divine steam behind Donald at this point.
We do need to pray “with thanksgiving.”
Pointing out that Minnesotan businesses got screwed by their state and local dims will not get votes in a recount.
It might dampen some of the cheating and hiding of existing cheating.
I just saw her on CNN, and she has the money to file in WI tomorrow. She said she is continuing to raise money to do a filing in PA and MI. CNN info babe didn’t seem to buy what she was selling.
Two weeks prior to the election, everyone was convinced that the hildabeast was a shoe-in. Stein was running on ego then. Now she want’s to destroy Trump.
Because this was a national party effort, no doubt about it. State and local “dims” were only an arm of the national “dims.” And now the beast beckons again.
What happens when local “dims” get independent in a place is illustrated by Kim Davis.
Mere money has a way of poofing into existence when there is a political call.
More headaches and more fighting for Donald, but I remain optimistic that now, it’ll only redound to blowing up in lefties’ faces.
Felons voted, illegals voted, the dead voted, and then there are ones who voted multiple times in multiple locations, in multiple states, how many seniors had RAT helpers fill out their ballots, how many addresses had ten or more registered to that house, how many fake names were there?? How many machines registered Hillary when the voter selected Trump?
Did the military vote get counted? How many millions were fraud? No one is questioning it or are they? What other means did the RATs use to commit voter fraud?
Anyone else out there asking these questions? Hopefully, the Trump staff is! Obviously, the MSM isn’t.
Voter fraud has to be investigated, exposed, and stopped. People must go to jail or prison for committing voter fraud in order to stop it.
Were the voting machines sequestered and locked down after the close of voting and did they remain locked down and inaccessible to anyone wishing to tamper with them?
I am sure that any investigating or inspection of these machines will be done with a representative of Trump on hand at all times to ensure that hacking evidence is not planted by the people who claim they want to make sure there was no hacking.
It is not even enough to prove hacking was done or attempted. The proof must include the actual results of the hack or the intended results of attempted and failed hack. IOW if it cannot be proved that votes were switched from Clinton to Trump this investigation goes nowhere.
