She is pointing out that Choice will destroy Private schools. They have already designated homeschool as a “private school” in law. She has bumper stickers on her site that read School Choice will destroy Private school. I am no expert but I am merely trying to point out this could be quite bad. Also the homeschool education activists are really sounding the alarm on Choice. Nobody will get the money they want to compensate for self-educating their own kids. It is starting to be seen as entrapment.
My own thoughts are that after Plyler v. Doe the education was focused on the cultural needs of the IA’s nowhere are kids taught about their own American/European heritage.The lack of a unifying culture is a huge complication. It is a real conundrum. Perhaps we just need the late 1700’s model-educate your own-no state-run ed at all.
