Advocates of public education in the United States have worried that President-elect Donald Trump would tap an education secretary who would speed up the privatization of public schools, a move that many fear could destroy Americas public education system, the countrys most important civic institution. But, you're right. I can't imagine a sane man who'd want to teach in today's public schools. Not sure why you're disagreeing with me. My responsibility, to my children, with regards to their education, is being fulfilled. I've "ignored" nothing.
I have been griping about the school systems for fifty years and have done evert thing possible to avoid the imposition of cultural and intellectual illiteracy by people ignorant of our patrimony and the developmental stages of children.
