“A) I am not a never trumper.”
You whine like one.
“B) So does this mean that you will be pleased to close your eyes for the next four years?”
Fallacious argument. Straight out of the MSM progressive playbook.
” Now that he is the presumptive President (to become the President-elect once the electoral college casts its votes), his feet need to be held to the fire to make sure he delivers on his promises.”
If you took the time to remember that EVERYONE Trump hires will be implementing HIS policies you MIGHT read like you have some sense. If Trump appointees don’t adhere to Trump policies they will be fired. Trump will hold DC to the fire like he has the media, Cankles, etc.
Now take your “fire” and cook up a turkey leg. That would be far more constructive than your whining here this morning.
Seems to me the only one whining here is you and those like you who wish to close their eyes.
If you took the time to remember that EVERYONE Trump hires will be implementing HIS policies you MIGHT read like you have some sense. If Trump appointees dont adhere to Trump policies they will be fired. Trump will hold DC to the fire like he has the media, Cankles, etc.
I certainly hope you're right. But as Ronaldus Magnus said, "trust but verify."
In the meantime, when he does the right thing, like nominating Sessions for AG, I'll applaud. When there are questionable murmurs coming from him or his transition (such as letting the Hildabeast off the hook, considering Romney for anything more than janitor, or this) I'm going to bitch. And you may as well get used to it.
Unlike leftists, conservatives stand for something and aren't into "cults of personality" and will question things when appropriate.
Questioning something is not a sign of disloyalty. And last time I checked, Free Republic was a conservative site.
