Dennis Prager did a show recently where he had callers tell him about the conflicts in their families after the election. People were being disowned by their children because they voted for Trump.

That's when you tell them "We're very sorry if it has to be that way, but it's your decision I guess. However, if you're no longer our child, there's no reason we'd leave you anything upon our death, so it will all go to your siblings (or if no other siblings -- to some extremely conservative charity we respect, probably the Cato Institute)"
I have heard stories, some probably true, about liberal relatives trying to get their conservative relatives fired from their jobs because of political beliefs discussed at Thanksgiving Dinner. I can do without that crap.
