Why would a sitting South Carolina Governor be willing to become the UN Ambassador unless the Republican Party is grooming her to become the First Woman President in 2024?
Otherwise it seems to me the UN Ambassadorship is a demotion.
Might she think there will be more scope for her talents in DC and that it would be more expansive life style?
