The one that’s hard for me to deal with is maybe naming Harold Ford to the Sec. of Transportation.
Usually some lame other-party senator is offered an unimportant cabinet seat like that so that you can get your party voted in as his replacement and pick up a seat in the senate.
Ford is a young, charismatic, relatively moderate, black Democrat who backed Hillary and who could be the party’s most likely salvation to compete for the presidency again.
(He is supposed to be a friend of Don Jr and Ivanka’s.)
Why does he keep rewarding people who tried to hurt his chances of winning? I saw on the Daily Mail that Bannon was with Mark Cuban at a bar.
