Computer scientists urge Clinton campaign to challenge election results

(CNN)Hillary Clinton's campaign is being urged by a number of top computer scientists to call for a recount of vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, according to a source with knowledge of the request.

The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday. The scientists, among them J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, told the Clinton campaign they believe there is a questionable trend of Clinton performing worse in counties that relied on electronic voting machines compared to paper ballots and optical scanners, according to the source. The group informed John Podesta, Clinton's campaign chairman, and Marc Elias, the campaign's general counsel, that Clinton received 7% fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic voting machines, which the group said could have been hacked. Their group told Podesta and Elias that while they had not found any evidence of hacking, the pattern needs to be looked at by an independent review.

This probably means the paper ballot districts were commiting Dem voter and inflating her votes by 7%.

I think that is exactly what it means.

No way will the Dems touch this one. They will be all too happy to let their supporters scream about a “rigged” election, but the absolute last thing they want is a truly independent review of the results.

Notice also the story claims “ at least electors are not voting Trump”. So lets see, strike Wisconsin and Michigan and were at 270. Subtract 3 and it’s civil war.

These people are playing with fire on both sides.

If Hillary thinks she can get away with it she’ll go for it

Not to worry, Podesta and company will have to sober up Clinton to discuss. That might take a while.

Nate Silver already shot this down. No hacking was found.

Wouldn’t it be funny if they found the votes FOR Hillary had been manufactured and she actually lost worse than previously thought? Man, would she have a meltdown!

Hmm, somebody should tell them to look at the 3 million illegals that voted in California, and that is 100% proven by voter records.

Just like the 2000 election. They're only interested in close "battle ground" election results where clinton lost. What follows is repeated manipulation of the tally till she wins.

Democrat wins are never fraudulent.

So fun to watch the snowflakes get their hopes up, and then watch them come crashing down once again.

This election is giving me schadenfreud overload.

Do I understand their argument?

People voted for Trump in higher numbers in the rural areas.
The rural areas used electronic voting machines.
The machines were responsible for the higher Trump vote total.

Someone failed basic math, science, and logic classes.

I remember walking out of an advanced computer science class in college, because I was the only one that new that the solution of e^x = 1 was x=0. The only mechanical engineer in a class of comp sci majors. They spent 30 minutes debating it.

That might not work out as planned. The voter fraud is generally precipitated by the Democrats.

Both Nate Silver and Nate Cohn debunked their frivolous claims. Dems are always eager to steal elections.

...University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society...I smell a den of social justice warriors hiding behind manipulated computer programs to produce results consistent with their sense of justice.....

No man, it was the Russians. They went Russian female spies into the three states and enticed people to vote this way, using drugs and booze.

but yet they are throwing a tizzy fit because NC gov won’t cede the race because only 6300 votes separate them?

They know that if they dig too deep they might find the 2-3 million illegals who voted.
