I think that a Presidential Pardon would effectively end her political career. She might rather roll the dice.

Hard to imagine any kind of political career for her, whether pardoned or not.

I don't think she'll seek political office again. At this point, Hillary considers anything less than the presidency to be beneath her...and that's now gone forever. Even if she were to live long enough to run in 2020, I don't think many Democrats would be willing to give her a third shot at the White House, and the Clintons will no longer have enough clout to bully the party into giving her the nomination again.

This just confirms that the political class will continue to be above the law in a Trump administration.

Whether or not Hillary goes to jail is not a political issue. To treat it as such is a banana republic move. There is plenty of evidence to put her in cuffs right now. To ignore it is to create a class of society that never needs to concern themselves with the law.
