Whoa a second.
Lets look at the map.
CA, NV, OR, WA, CO, NM, VA were once reliably Red. Now they're Blue.
NC and FL were red and are now purple.
GA was way closer than it should have been.
The gop better start paying attention.

It goes well beyond the 47% simply receiving a Fed.gov check, that Romney spoke about - rather, our elites are organized around access to (and distribution of) government debt and fiat money issued by the Federal Reserve. This includes people as diverse as Bill Ayers and Lloyd Blankfein all part of this system of progressive distribution of government debt.

Oregon and Washington were never reliably Republican. The coastal areas of both states have a Yankee and Scandinavian heritage that has been inclined to the left for generations. To a great extent, they resemble Minnesota politically. New Mexico has never been reliably Republican either. The state has always had a Hispanic population, many of whom can trace their families back in New Mexico for over three centuries. Santa Fe has long had a population of artsy liberal types.
The problem with the South Atlantic states is not so much people crossing the Rio Grande but those crossing the Rappahanock. The Southeast has less of a Hispanic problem, but a Yankee problem.
