Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach met with Donald Trump on Sunday in New Jersey. A mainstream media photographer caught the moment.
Kobach is an expert on border security and legal immigration.
The photographer also caught a piece of paper outlining a potential Trump immigration reform agenda.
Reporters zoomed in on the paper and this is what they saw.
The Kobach notes include a 1,989 Trump wall in addition to the 386 miles of existing wall.
FANTASTIC!
Next 8 years...LOVE IT!
...
Trump also said “our government,” not “the government” or “my government.”
Agree. Great acting by the incomparable Lee Van Cleef.
It could have been something more sensitive. It’s just sloppy.
If I was more versed in the law, I could also figure out the legal strategy that would be used by reading what was shown.
Nope. He will get it done ahead of schedule and below budget. LOL
I thought the same thing. Even football coaches hide their plays and even their faces from lip reading from the snooping cameras.
Btw, why would this guy attempt to conceal this as if it were some high level national security issue? Trump has been talking about this 24/7 for about 18 months. No?
Why?
I want the Trump agenda to succeed. The Left will take every opportunity to sabotage this administration.
No knucklehead mistakes please.
Catapult.
True but it took a lot longer than eight years to build the Great Wall of China. When we see more about the plans we will have an idea of how quickly this wall can get built.
Everything east of El Paso is the riverbed of the Rio Grande River. Building a wall down the center of a river is not impossible, and would have other benefits if it was built in sections with locks to retain water on the northern side. Imagine improving the grazing and arable land all along the Texas border. Using the locks to move cargo via barges is cheap transport.
Let the Mexico side continue to be a bare trickle while the Texas side is a long swim for any attempted crossings. A web of electric eye beams along the surface of the water to trigger fast response boats could be very effective.
A less expensive barrier for the middle of a river would be military link fencing which could be laid in no time at all via boats and military trucks in shallow/dry stretches. It would not interfere with water rights sharing across the border and would be tougher to climb than a fence on dry land, but not ideal to my mind.
You evaded the questions as anticipated.
I really like both ideas.
If Babylon could have chariot races and commerce on top of its walls, why can’t we.
A wall structure large enough to have the ability to travel on top would be multi-purpose.
However, while entirely politically incorrect, in light of the 120,000 people (many innocent) purportedly killed across northern states of Mexico by lawless cartels and corrupt authorities, **without advocating statehood in this territory, in order to eliminate the problems, I would insist on drawing the wall line from the Big Bend in Texas to Quaymas, Mexico, (where we once held), and rejecting the Gadsden compromise (in part agreed to as a gesture from the US to Mexico City based on Mexico’s agreement not to cause further bloodshed on our border or weaken our border. The government of Mexico has consistently violated this agreement.
Mexico (or influential elements within Mexico) have consistently been allied with some of our worst enemies (Communist’s/Nazi’s/Muslim Brotherhood), and blatantly encouraged the violation of our immigration laws to weaken us, as well as encouraging every sort of violence and corruption along and within our border. Mexicans and Americans have been brutally killed.
Our military could make quick work of these thugs if allowed. I would not even tip them off we were coming. It would be a high speed take down of all corrupt authorities and cartels from every direction. I would not even let them escape to the south. I believe many truly oppressed people in these northern Mexican states would rejoice.
While I like dreaming a little, bet I would never be called a “dreamer” by a liberal!
Additionally, this would give the US maritime authority through the Gulf of California, and shorten the length of the wall.
Donald does not tolerate breaks in discipline or security. If we haven’t learned by now that Donald controls his own spin, we ain’t seen nothin yet!
The YouTube address to America is a brilliant stroke, reminds one of Reagan fireside chats on legislation. Take it directly to the people, straight talk, plain talk, then point out who is blocking the road and how the people can address those who are blocking the way to common sense solutions to national problems.
T-58? Days and counting! Woo Hoo!
“Why?”
Look back in the thread where I explained it about 3 times.
