Heh! True. Have you ever eaten “GooGoo Clusters/Bars”? I had friends who would visit me in England and I would request them pack GooGoos, Moon Pies, and Martha White self-rising corn meal. ;)

I love buttermilk and corn bread. Grew up drinking starter milk which is left over from making cheese. I grew up on farms so grew our own fruit, veggies, beef, pork, chickens and eggs. It was very hard work but boy, did it all taste wonderful in the winter. We would can plums in jars. I had a cousin who would get a jar of plums and salt shaker and eat the whole jar. Precious memories. She is gone now as are her 2 sisters. They all died from cancer. Thanks.
