Marketplace means competition for ad $ by ratings.
If a conservative station emerges that will activate competition.

Ownership of the existing networks is very concentrated and in many cases is in foreign hands. Changing those two factors would go a long way toward an honest MSM.

That is exactly what I said. The media corporations effectively have a monopoly, and in terms of licenses, they absolutely do.

It would take incredibly deep pockets to approach this problem from a "free market" standpoint. It is unrealistic to believe anyone could come up with so much money as to buy into this market.
