It requires the Christian hardihood to put up with a lot of guff to be able to do this. And it needn’t mean a blind acceptance. The kind of “extreme vetting” that Trump wants to do will emphasize that yes, behavior matters and yes, it’s a historical issue with Islam. But even that is an edge that Christianity can use. Many Muslims may not even understand why their behavior is taken with such an affront by the West. Christians who are knowledgeable can, in love that shows, explain that when you embrace the devil, you start to look like the devil too — but that needn’t be your everlasting fate.
No disagreement. It’s what we have and those Muslims in front of me will be evangelized. I do not regard that as a complete solution, though.
I think it would be helpful in the discussion on this thread if you would detail your own experiences with evangelism of Muslims. How have you approached it? What methods and arguments did you use? Did you have any success?
